Lemon Oil - Karschti

This fine example of Kiwi entrepreneurship at work (see also: ‘this entrance is closed, use the other… – if you can find it.’) would easily qualify with the admired colleagues at http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/.

But what is a platform with hundreds of thousand clicks and their own book if you can choose a friendly independent blog with less then 10 clicks – half of them created by the owner. Thought Karschti and provided us with this gem. Thanks a lot!

Lube While You Wait - Ralf

One of these random shots out of the driving car, just because the ride is so boring (and slow. And boring. And slow…). But see, the violated typography, art, law, lube and showers offer their own narrational possibilities.

Boring Akaroa - Karschti

We are going global! Today I have the absolute pleasure and honor to present a photo of New Zealand, taken by a German, posted on an american server, found by another German in New Zealand, and here you have it:

This wonderful shot by Karschti, a famous flickrer from Hamburg, encapsulates everything I had in mind when I set up this blog. Which was basically: how many postcards motives can one stand before she or he faints? And are there other ways to express appreciation, which aren’t soooo in-the-face?

Bay Glam - Caroline Jackson

This week’s “Thank you!” goes to designer (and former Otago student) Caroline Jackson from Nelson, who sent us this photo of a touch of Las Vegas ‘Mars-Attacks’-ishly invading Golden Bay. Generally, I wouldn’t mind a bit of glamour attack across New Zealand, but the half-heartedness presented in this example is, of course, devastating.
