Whenever european architects mess up so badly that more than a dozen people get injured or killed, they are exiled to New Zealand. Where they do stuff like this.

That is truly bad. I’m almost certain I’ve stayed at the Welly Novotel next door. It seems impossible I wouldn’t have seen this.
Must have been EASTERN European, from the looks of it. Socialist realism after losing the game, throwing its toys out of the pram.
