Ain’t that bad, that chinese garden. Here 80% of the highlights on one shot.

Dunedin Shoe Puke - Ralf

Darn, more and more we drift away from the landscape photography. Anyhow, this one is too good: a plateau shoe (!) sole (!!!), covered in… well, let’s just assume a moviegoer on his way home stumbled and accidentally emptied his bag of popcorn and a can of Red Bull over it, shall we?

On a side note: I love iPhoto’s new Highlight, Shadow and De-Noise sliders. Turns everything into a Hockney painting…

Ah, Dunedin, finally. Too be fair (at least for once): the place has been abandoned for a long time.

Train Station Oamaru - Ralf

Again, this is a great photo and shouldn’t be here. Anyhow, the whole train station area feels like a Kaurismäki movie and somebody should shoot a movie there, the sooner the better. Close to one of my favourite cafés in NZ, the “Off the Rail Cafe”, which, despite its name, is an amazing place.

Let them eat Bingo! (Was the title of a quite enjoyable album by Norman Quentin Cook. Who lives in… well, the other one.)
